Main Story:

Stu is marrying Lauren, a woman of Thai descent, and the wedding is set in Thailand. He invites Phil, Doug, and reluctantly, Alan. Lauren's 16-year-old brother, Teddy, a musical prodigy, joins the group.

Stu, wary of another wild night, plans a calm bachelor brunch. But Phil persuades him to have just one beer on the beach...

The Next Morning:

Phil, Stu, and Alan wake up in a filthy hotel room in Bangkok with:

  • Stu sporting a facial tattoo (like Mike Tyson’s)

  • Alan’s head shaved

  • Teddy missing

  • A monkey in the room

  • And no memory of the night before

The Search for Teddy:

To find Teddy, the guys follow scattered clues around Bangkok:

  • They discover Teddy’s severed finger with his Stanford ring.

  • Mr. Chow (the gangster from the first movie) reappears and tries to help — then collapses after snorting cocaine.

  • The monkey turns out to be a drug mule for a Russian gang.

  • They end up in dangerous areas, including a strip club where Stu learns he had sex with a transgender woman.

  • They get arrested, escape, and even meet a Buddhist monk who helps them reflect.

The Twist:

They finally realize Teddy had gone to the hotel’s ice machine and accidentally got locked on the roof — just like Doug in the first movie.

The Ending:

  • Explores identity, consequences, and growing up

  • Comedy driven by extreme situations, cultural misadventures, and outrageous humor
